Brant Broughton

Brant Broughton is a picturesque small village set in a conservation area in the countryside of central Lincolnshire. Many of the houses date back to the coaching days of the 18th and 19th centuries and have listed status.

The 14th century village church of St Helen’s, whose elegant spire can be seen from the campsite, has been described as one of the most glorious in Lincolnshire and the Friends Meeting House in the heart of the village is one of the oldest non-conformist places of worship in the country.

The Village Shop in the Old Forge on the main street is open every day of the week selling sandwiches, bread, milk and general groceries. The Generous Briton has been a public house for over 200 years. During colder weather the open-plan space with an open fire creates a cosy atmosphere and in summer months drinks and food can be enjoyed on the patio or in the beer garden. High quality traditional home-cooked food, well-kept beers, fine wines and spirits are available every day except Monday.
